Connect your own Google Cloud Translation API key, choose your target languages, and scan for missing translations. Review the scan, start a translation job, and let Speak Lite save the results into Karenderia’s native translation records.

Translate the content customers use

• Website text: translate registered storefront interface messages.
• Menu items: translate names, descriptions and short descriptions.
• Categories and cuisines: translate supported names and descriptions.
• Pages: translate titles, page content and supported metadata.
• Optional Backoffice translation: include registered administration messages when needed.

Available content areas depend on the installed Karenderia schema. Speak Lite identifies unavailable areas in Settings.

Connect Google in one click

Paste your API key and click Test connection. Speak Lite checks the entered key immediately and saves it securely only when the test succeeds. No separate settings save is needed first. If no target is selected, the interface selects the first available target language different from the original language. Settings includes direct links to create your API key, enable the Translation API and read the setup guide.

Keep control of your translations

• Preserve manual work: existing human translations are skipped, and later manual corrections are protected.
• Protect important text: retain placeholders, markup and configured terms such as brand names.
• Translate in the background: a scheduled worker processes queued work; optional automation checks for new and changed supported content.
• Manage jobs: pause, resume, cancel and retry translation jobs from Backoffice.
• Undo machine output: restore up to 100 unchanged machine translations per click, while skipping later manual edits.
• Reuse cached results: avoid repeat Google requests for reusable cached translations.
• Set a monthly character cap: control requests made by this addon and view its recorded usage. Google’s own billing remains authoritative.
• Review before translating: scans find missing fields without calling Google. Translation and connection tests consume API usage.
